'03 Cobra -vs- MKIV Supra

What would you guys rather have?

I've heard that it takes about $2-3K to have an 03/04 Cobra run consistant 10's and it takes close to $10K in the Supra to run consistant 10's??

Also both motors can take a SHITLOAD of abuse and can handle insane amounts of HP.

The bottom line comes down to this: what car is better? Pros & Cons for both? etc, etc. These two cars seem somewhat similar. Discuss.

eitherway i'll take the cobra.

btw 2-3k probably get you to 10secs in the quarter on a cobra, you would need a pulley change, some drag radials, some nitrous and fuel to add, common mods and maybe upgrade half-shafts and anything else that breaks from a launch, now a 10sec cobra with a kb/whipple would do wonders, or a turbo.

my brother had a 93 cobra for a while that was in perfect condition and if i remember right he didnt run in the 10s. the only thing upgraded was the suspension i think. but it was a bigger motor. he sold it because the engine couldnt hold much more power. he got a 2002 trans am with the ws-6 package and upgraded alot of stuff. he had a problem with the motor so he put the zo6 motor in it (LS1 i believe or was it LS6?) after he got it how he wanted he was pushing about 520 hp to the wheels. that car is a beast.
