Top speed tests

any one that has read the new mt knows that they tested 3 of the greatest cars around righ now, the Ford GT, Porsche Carrera GT, and the Enzo. This top speed test pitted the enzo on top (of course) at 211 mph, the carrera gt came in scond with a top speed of 201.5 mph and the GT in 3rd with a top speed of 200.5 mph. the test was done at Ford's Arizona Proving Grounds and all test reported either none or very little breeze and the cars were driven by Bryan Herta. I would take teh enzo definatly ...which car do u prefer?

I just got it today about 17 days later than it usually comes. Did you see the pic in their that showed the keys of the 3 cars. The GT's key looks like a peice of crap

I would love to get all 3!! In the following order:

1-Enzo
2-Ford GT
3-Carrera GT

no doubt the CGT would be on top, as it's a full manual. I think with that kinda power I wouldn't be able to distinguish the performance differences between the CGT and the Enzo. I don't think the Ford GT even competes with the 2

I'd take the Ford. It is a full manual, BTW, and it goes just as fast at the Porsche and is about a 3rd the price.

ford GT is side by side with the ferrari enzo in acceleration. People have claimed it can get 0-60 in 3.3sec. But top speed for all 3 cars seem to be really off in this test.

Enzo=218mph
GT=212mph
Carrera GT=205mph

And what do you mean by full manual? Do you mean stick shifting? The enzo has paddle gear changers but i also think it has stick shift too. Not to sure. But i know that the Ford gt has stick shift with clutch.

but you also forgot about the price.

The enzo was priced at about 500K
The Carrera gt is priced 600k
the Ford GT is priced 131k as was said by yahoo.
