Yes it is "Coming from a long line of mid-engine Corvette prototypes, the CERVIII was the final attempt towards a mid-mounted engine. Inspiration for the car's design came from the Corvette Indy which was released four years earlier than the CERVIII. Unlike this prototype, the Indy was more of a display model, incapable of being driven."- supercars.net (one of the only times its been useful)

This car is more than exciting. According to SuperCars.net it can do 225 mph - 362 km/h in 1990 year.

Some saurces also says it has a four steering wheels...

I've got one more "picture" of it - from bubble gum Turbo. Ahahaha...

I wonder if anyone got it one in proper resolution?

it has a twin turbo 2.8 liter V-8, from am Indy car, producing about 600hp. all wheel drive, and 4 wheel steering. it was taken from the 1986 Corvette Indy concept but turned into a running prototype by Lotus in 1990.
