Bulkcarriers

after trains, yachts and planes, some high res ships....in this case bulkcarriers, the work horses of the oceans, carrying all that iron that has to be refined to produce the contents of the other threads on this site

wrong, the Talia S. was built in 1978 by the Galatz shipyard in Romania and it is classified as "bulkcarrier" being a single deck vessel over 10,000 DWT. This ship's DWT is 18925 DWT. It is significantly smaller than the other vessels which are 72500 DWT (Fu Min) 220,000 DWT (Berge Nord) and 171,000 DWT ( the Pacific Fortune)...

The city is actually "Galati" and the shipyard company is named "Navrom". I think I've seen a similar ship while passing by "Tulcea" to see the Delta Danube. If I can find the pictures, I'll post them here (I think there are only 2).
