I dunno, would anyone take this over a SLK 55 AMG? I doubt it.

I certainly wouldn't.

By far, no, but the Crossfire is based on the SLK, so I believe the SLK55 and it had the same engine at one point.

Probably the SLK 32AMG, not 55 AMG.

Yup, it was the first gen SLK in 32 AMG trim, so with some more years and miles, the prices could even be similar. At that point, I'd have just gone for a 350z.
I have to say I saw a Crossfire roadster the other day, and was surprised. I mean, that's probably the third time I see a Crossfire.

Or anything really.

And it's a shame because styling wise it showed promise.

i have no idea how to respond to that... but yes she drives a crossfire. she had a 300M before it, and liked it a lot, so she wanted to stay with chrysler but wanted something small and sporty. and red. the last red sporty car she has was the E30 which i wrecked promptly after getting my license.

The gf's mother also wanted something red and small, relatively sporty (let's say funky). Now she drives a Toyota Matrix.
Not exactly what I suggested to her, but while they were visiting relatives in SoCal her Nissan (don't remember which one, something small) died, and a local dealer had this excellent deal on the red Matrix. While she was at the park with the dogs and relatives, her husband went for a walk, and turned back with the car.

Cash for Clunkers, a dead old Nissan some hundreds miles from home, a good deal and the fact that everything red could have fitted the role probably.

I was suggesting the Kia Soul mainly, and something else I can't remember right now.
