Austrian Dietrich Mateschitz, founder of Red Bull, purchased the Jaguar team and re-baptised it Red Bull Racing. Cosworth found a new owner in the United States, ensuring the continuing production of Formula 1 and Champ Car engines. Christian Klien and the very experienced David Coulthard made up the driver pairing at the start of the 2005 season.
