Chassis: J12-C-1090
Originally constructed as one of the XJR-9s, this chassis was updated to XJR-12 specification and re-numbered 1090 for the 1990 season. It was part of the Jaguar team's Le Mans assault. Driven by Martin Brundle, Price Cobb and Eliseo Salazar, it convincingly won the race after grabbing the lead in the 11th hour. Not raced again, it was retained by Tom Walkinshaw until his 2003 bankruptcy forced him to sell the car. In 2011, it was brought out for the Goodwood Festival of Speed where Jaguar was the featured marque. The Le Mans winner was driven on the occasion by the owner and Martin Brundle.
