Chassis:
One of the early Talbot Lago T26C Grand Prix cars built, chassis 110004 was sold new to a Mr. Peinetti for Gianfranco Comotti to race. This France-based Italian native campaigned the car in eleven races in 1948. Peinetti eventually brought the car to South America where he briefly raced the Talbot Lago in local events. Still sporting its original body, chassis and engine, it was retrieved from South America many years later. Beautifully restored, it placed second in class at Pebble Beach in 2001. Today, it is owned by a German historic racer.
