Chassis:
The second to last Ferrari 250 LM built, chassis 6313 was sold new to Ecurie Francorchamps. Repainted yellow, it was raced throughout the 1965 season. Its best result came at Le Mans where Pierre Dumay and Gustave Gosselin finished second behind the sister car entered by the North American Racing Team. During the 1970s, it was owned by David Piper, who also owned chassis 6023 at the time. For some reason, the identities were swapped. This mis-identification lasted until the early 2000s when this car was in the ownership of Sir Anthony Bamford. Acquired by the current owner in 2005, it has been regularly raced at historic events throughout Europe.
