Chassis:
Chassis FA1-1 was the first of four examples built by Arrows. It was raced by Riccardo Patrese at the team's debut in the 1978 Brazilian Grand Prix. He finished an impressive tenth and in the hands of Rolf Stommelen also scored a ninth place finish. After the court ruling, the chassis was handed to Shadow where it remained in parts for many years as it did not come with the FA1 bodywork. Many years later a complete set was located in a pub where it had served as a ceiling ornament since 1978. It was traded for a set of Shadow bodywork, which allowed the FA1 to be reconstructed by its then owner Pete Racely. Today, it is believed to be the only Arrows FA1 restored to full running order. At the time of writing, it was for sale at Fantasy Junction for $349,500.
