Chassis:
The very last 956 chassis built, chassis 118 was dispatched to Nova Engineering to help rebuilt the team's chassis 108, which had been virtually destroyed in a fire. Sporting Trust colours, it was raced exclusively in Japan by Vern Schuppan with a choice of co-drivers. With Yoshimi Katayama, the Australian won the Fuji 500 mile race in 1984 and joined by Keiichi Suzuki, he was victorious in the 1985 Fuji 1000 km. In July of 1985, the car's contemporary racing career was ended prematurely by another fire. It has since been completely restored and following a spell in the United States, it is now owned by an Australian collector and historic racer.
