Chassis:
The second BT8 built, this example was fitted with a 2.5 litre Coventry Climax engine and sold to Hugh Dibley. Entered by the Stirling Moss Automobile Racing Team (SMART), it was raced at many of the major events of 1964 by Dibley. The car was sold to Max Wilson next, who won outright at Mallory Park and Brands Hatch in 1966. In 1968, chassis SC-2-64 was sold to the United States, where its racing career continued into the 1970s. Passing through various caring owners, it has since been regularly used in historic events.
