Finished for road use with front and rear bumperettes, and a luxuriously appointed interior, this 375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta was sold new to an Italian enthusiast from Rome. In 1956, it starred in the movie 'La Fortuna di Essere Donna' alongside Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni. During the 1960s, it was sold to the United States, where it passed through various hands before returning to Europe in the 1980s. In remarkably original condition, it was offered by RM Auctions in their 2010 Monterey sale where it found a new owner for $4.6 million. It has since been shown at the Cavallino Classic and Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
