One of the very last Knobbly Listers built, this example was raced by Walt Hansgen and Ivor Bueb during the 1958 season for the factory team. Bueb won at Brands Hatch and also scored a poignant victory in the Archie Scott Brown Memorial race at Snetterton. It was subsequently sold to the United States where it was campaigned in the SCCA championship. It was brought back to Great Britain by historic racer John Harper, who campaigned it for many years. Among the subsequent owners were noted collectors Dr. Philippe Renault, Frank Sytner and John McCaw. (Source: Powered by Jaguar, by Doug Nye)
