Chassis:
One of the earliest Type 50s produced, this example was clothed by Million Guiet with a striking Coupe body. Its early history is not known but it has spent many of its subsequent years in the United States, first in the hands of newspaper magnate Ken Purdy and later it also briefly formed part of the William Harrah collection. Following a spell in Europe, it joined the Mullin Automotive Museum collection in 2011. Since then it has been cosmetically restored and re-painted in a different two-tone livery. The very original mechanicals were not touched during the restoration, which was completed in time for the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
