Chassis:
Bought new from the factory by American privateer racer Loyal Katskee, this chassis was first raced late in 1959 during the Nassau Speed Week. Katskee's best result with the car was a third at Road America in 1960. Early in 1961, it was acquired by compatriot Don Skogmo, who continued to campaign the car, scoring two wins in SCCA events. Chassis 2454 eventually returned to Europe and was owned by Giulio Dubbini for many years. In the late 1990s, this highly original car was acquired by Swiss historic racer Carlo Vogele. He later swapped it for the Nürubrgring 1000 km winning Maserati 300S with Klaus Werner. More recently, it was acquired at auction by its current American custodian.
