Chassis:
This was one of around ten limousine or berline bodies built for the Duesenberg Type J chassis and the only one equipped with a supercharged engine. It was delivered new to Mrs Henry Adams in 1934 through J.S. Inskip. It was reportedly her third Duesenberg. She would go on to own the car for around a decade and it has changed hands only a few times since. A rare surviving formal bodied Duesenberg, it was not restored until after the current custodian acquired it in 2013. The work was completed in time for the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
