Chassis:
This the fourth and final March 82G built, which was fitted with a small-block Chevrolet engine from new. It served as a Group C Works car in the Silverstone 6-Hours and 24 Hours of Le Mans with little success before being sold to North America. Here Randy Lanier and Marty Hinze campaigned chassis 82G/04 in the remaining IMSA GTP Races. They recorded podium finishes at Mosport and Mid-Ohio. At the end of the year they sold the Chevrolet engined March, which made infrequent appearances in the following seasons. Today chassis 82G/04 is owned by an American enthusiast, who has restored the car to its 1982 GTP specification. He is seen here in action during the at the Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
