Sold new to prominent Dutch privateer racer Carel Godin de Beaufort, this 550A was completed in April of 1957. Carel de Beaufort was quite successful with his latest Porsche, winning his class at Cadours in France. Following a spell in Switzerland, it was subsequently owned by prominent collectors Yoshiho Matsuda and Dr. Julio Palmaz. Today, it is part of a fabulous Swiss Porsche collection.
