Chassis:
Delivered new to the Porsche Club Romand from the Switzerland, chassis 911 360 0960 was raced by the Swiss team at Dijon, Monza and the Nürburgring early in 1973. It was then entered at Le Mans for an all-French driver line-up by Jean Sage but a head-gasket failure ended the car's charge. It was raced at Le Mans three more times but mechanical failures caused early retirements on each occasion. In more recent years, the Carrera RSR 2.8 was finished in the striking livery used at the 1973 Tour de France but it has since been repainted in its 1973 Le Mans colours.
