Chassis:
Italian entrant Gianni Mussato commissioned Dallara to build him an additional LC2 ahead of the 1989 season. Although built without factory support, it is identical to the earlier cars. Fielded by Mussato Action Car, it was raced extensively during the 1989 season by a variety of drivers including Andrea de Cesaris and Bruno Giacomelli. It failed to quality for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and did not make it to the finish once in its other outings. Driven by Massimo Monti and Fabio Magnani, it did manage to qualify for Le Mans in 1990 but an accident ended the charge in the 86th lap. Now owned by a Danish historic racer, it is regularly campaigned in the Group C Championship.
