Chassis:
Built in April of 1937, this Bugatti Type 57 S was delivered new to a Belgian owner on the French Cote d'Azur through the Nice dealership. It was fitted by the factory with the Atalante Coupe body. Among its subsequent owners were noted collectors Jean de Dobbeleer and Andre Binda. Still with its original naturally aspirated engine, it was acquired by the current, Hong Kong based owner in 1995. He has since shown the car at numerous events. Chassis 57562 is seen here during the 2005 Quail, a Motorsports Gathering where it was awarded 'First in Class'.
