Chassis: DB3/6
Chassis DB3/6 was the first example sold directly to a customer; Robert Dickson. He used the car for local hillclimbs and races. In 1954 he had the Aston Martin fitted with a fixed head body with striking gull-wing doors. A Jaguar C-Type engine also found its way into chassis DB3/6. In recent years the DB3 was restored to its former glory. In sparkling condition it is seen here at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where Aston Martin was the featured marque.
