Chassis:
Fitted with the standard Spyder body, this 908/02 Spyder was raced by the factory in the Brands Hatch 1000km. Germans Gerhard Mitter and Udo Schütz finished fifth overall. The car was then entrusted to David Piper and Alain de Cadenet, who campaigned the car during the second half the 1969 season, joined sometimes by Chris Craft. In 1970, it was entered in the Daytona 24 Hours by Juan Manuel Fangio. The race ended early due to an engine failure. Upon its return to Europe, chassis 008 was updated to 'Flunder' specification. In this guise, it continued to be raced by a variety of drivers, including a young Niki Lauda, who won a minor race at Diepholz. Following its final contemporary race, in June of 1972, it was restored to its Bosch Racing Team livery as used by Lauda.
