British customers were particularly fond of open cars and many of the Type 57 Ss sent to Britain received custom coachwork from British coachbuilders like Vanden Plas and Corsica. Featured is a one of the rare Bugattis bodied by Vanden Plas. Unlike most of the Type 57s with an underslung chassis, this example is fitted with a Naturally Aspirated version of the straight eight engine.
