Chassis:
This is the third Zagato Coupe built on the 250 GT chassis. It can easily be distinguished from the first two cars by the flat covered headlights. It was raced extensively by Camillo Luglio, who had been one of the driving forces behind the creations of the 250 GT Zagato Coupes. He placed it second in class in the 1957 Mille Miglia and score several class victories on his way to become the Italian GT Champion. After changing hands several times, it joined Peter Kaus' vast Rosso Bianco Collection in 1979. Chassis 0665GT was sold at the 1999 Brooks Gstaad Auction to an American collector, who had it completely restored. At its post-restoration debut, it was painted silver but this was later corrected to a much more correct two-tone finish of dark grey with a silver roof.
