Chassis:
Around fourteen D8 120 chassis were equipped with the Aerosport Coupe designed by Marcel Letourneur. The tear drop shaped bodies rivalled the Figoni & Falaschi designed coupes in elegance and beauty. The most striking features were the curved side window frames, which housed the Labourdette pillarless Vutotal window design. The only drawback of the all this elegance was the excessive weight. Completed cars would easily weigh between four and five thousand pounds, which is a lot to move with around 100 bhp.
Featured is one of the first series of seven Aerosports constructed. It was followed by a series of five and a third series of two cars, which all differed in detail. It is seen here at the 2004 Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance where it was one of the stars.
