The 252 mph is a fantastic record. Is it the fastest speed ever on a real road course? Really miss the old straight.

this car is the best car to race in Le Mans in my mind i know that other people would think different but i think france is home to many great things like Le Mans and great car companys but peugeot is the best
 Don't agree for the record.

The record was set in 1988 , by the WM P88 with 405kmh which are 251.71mph. The car was driven by Roger Dorchy.
 Le Mans top speed record

The top speed record at Le Mans was made in 1991 by the Peugeot at 405 km/h (252 m/h). After that year,ACO added chicanes on the Hunaudieres straight,so it's impossible now to beat that record.
 The single god I pray.

This is in my opinion the most amazing Le Mans car ever. It managed to qualify as fast as the other C-Group cars , altough the chicanes that cut the speed on Les Hunaudires straight line. In 1992 , Phillippe Alliot , did the pole at an average speed of 243.329kmh. It's faster than the Sauber C11 in 1991 and also faster than the Nissan R90 CK in 1990. Also faster than the Porsche 962 in 1987 , and there was no chicane at that time. The 905 is the single ever 10 cylinders engine to win Le Mans overall. Did 1 and 2 in 1992 for its second year at Le Mans. The year after , the 3 engaged cars finished 1 , 2 and 3. After it , no car did a pole faster , not even the rocket Toyota GT-One. I simply love this car , I've had the joy to see it in person , I'd love to see it again.

"This is my tribute to Deuginthesky and The Dude, who made possible sportcars fan to discover this great car of the early '90s. Don't forget it would never be possible with the clever mind of Jean Todt, today in Ferrari. By the way, The Dude, my friend. I thought you told me that you have a lot of pictures of the 905 ""Helicopter"" version. Can you post them? Congratulations, anyway."""
