A grown-up Dino 206, but with covered headlights, which Ralph Nader didn't allow us in the U.S. Which brings up another point. Perhaps il Commendatore's hesitation to build rear engined street cars in the mid-60s owed something to Nader's execrable Unsafe at any Speed (1965), which made U.S. and European car makers abandon any degree of oversteer in favor of front wheel drive and and sliding off the road nose-first. |
