Yes, this car is a fake. There is not enough room for the 2 turbochargers and their intercoolers. Just look under the hood of a 607 V6 and you'll be convinced. Then, Peugeot doesn't have any gearbox strong enough to transmit the torque (something like 600 Nm I guess). And Peugeot will never conceive a gearbox just for one car... I also think some of you have noticed that the 2nd exhaust is a fake. To finish, have you ever seen a photo of the engine mounted in this car?? Not me. On all the pics I've seen the hood is closed. Quite strange in my opinion. When you proudly announce that you have a 400hp car, you show the engine too, no?
 twin turbo with FWD!!?

OH MY GOSH!!! i used to think that Volvo S80 T6 is the only twin turbo with front-wheel drive... as far as i know... all twin-turbos are either RWD or AWD! but this Peugeot... is the much better than it! 400hp V6 and 6A +/-! great design too... but i don't hear any production plan...
 Nice car-make it

Would love to see this car in production. Would make a worthy rival to the german super saloons as the normal 607 is a good car. This look is what the 607 needs. But PLEASE peugeot dont even think about making it front wheel drive or you might as well not bother. 4wd or rear + loose the red interior.

The Engine used in this is the same one as The Courage/Peugeot Pescarolo La mans which is Turbocharged Peugeot ES9 J4S V6, 60 degree, 24 val. It does Exist! As for the Gearbox I dont know about that. But the video of it zooming around the race track convinced me that there was one there. Unless you can think of a better way to make car move? The La mans has 410+ kw / 550+ bhp @ 6500 rpm and this one has 298Kw / 400 bph whats hard about tuning down a engine 110Kws so that it will last a bit longer. I dont work for Peugeot and no I havent seen one for real. But they do have that engine, and I dont think it would be that hard to put it in the 607. Prove me wrong about it not being a fake. Cause I dont see it.
People should cool themselves with this car.

The engine does not exist, the gearbox able to transmit the power does not either, one of the exhaust is nothing else than a fake. This car is the most stupid concept ever from Peugeot, shame on them to have used like that Henri Pescarolo's name.

Is it just me, or does the red leather interior of this car really make your eyes water? As for the car, I have always liked the 607, and this evolution just makes me like it more, well done, Peugeot, just make sure the chassis can handle it.

WOW!3.2 V6,Twin turbo aspiration, killer looks, and the icing:-a 400hp swabian beater! The 3.2 V6 engine... BMW enters the race as the M3, a stunning car with 333hp. Benz crashes the party with its C32 supercharged pocket rocket, with an even more enticing version of the V6 just shy of 350 horses, and now peugoet with its version of the V6. Fabulous work. HAve this engine in the bay of the 406 coupe pinin and we have a winner on our hands!
 Aggressive but.......

I agree with most if the comments that were made, look very aggressive with vamped up styling and lowered springs but where engineering comes in I bet that peugeot with all the experience they have in rally tournaments they can make the car in an AWD version. 400 bhp sounds terrific but delivered from the front wheels sounds madness.
 We need more fast peugeots

I want to see that engine in a 206. I don't know how they would do it. But do it!! The car has all the requirements of a great performance luxury Sedan. But when is Peugeot going to make some really good spots cars with big engines. AWD would be a good idea too.
 Nice...

I would say the Peugeot 607 Pescarolo has excellent style. For a sports sedan, it's stats look good and a V6 3.2ltr engine, I would say is more than enough. The Grill on the bumper gives it a mean look. If this concept passes through, I'd say this car would do good.
 RS6 rival?????

No way. Peugeot will still never beat the audi but it has a chance of beating the M5 and the S-type r. Great car anyway!!!!
 AWD Please

I think that putting 400bhp through the front wheels is a bit too much as torque steer will ruin the handling. AWD would be perfect for this car and PEUGEOT can use its experience in the WRC to help build it. It will be a shame it not have AWD as the car really looks cool..
 AWD

May be they need to consider AWD before shoehorning in 400 BHP. Would be a nice alternative to the German heavy metal.
