I heard that the 0-60 was 4.1 seconds and the top speed was around 200. The HP was 465, so maybe it was a different version or something.
 Now this is cool!

The NOS only provides about 200bhp of the total 965bhp this car can have. It can reach 765bhp without it. The base version hit 213mph at nardo. MG havent released any stats for the top versions.
does not perform the way it looks

This car looks very scary. I say that because i think this car is able to challenge nascar cars or dragsters just with looks but when people look at the specs they get a bit dissapointed. It accelerates quickly but not that quickly and has a reasonable top speed but with that looks it means that it could go much faster, much much faster. I do not think i have seen a car with that many air vents and intakes ever. Even some concepts do not have that many intakes. Does the engine really bocome hot that quickly or does it jus need a lot of air and i think that the nitrous is perfect for the car because it has so many air vents that it cools so quickly. Nice car anyway. GOOD JOG MG!!
 but it's a nitrious 965bhp

"Now, I'm not completely sure, but since around 500 of that 965bhp will be due to a nitrious injection kit, won't that mean that the SV is only capable of 965bhp for short bursts as anything longer will overheat the engine; which would mean that it would basically be a 465bhp car capable of the occasional incredible burst of speed, but nothing capable of beating ""even"" cars such as the Porsche 996 GT2 or Lamborghini murcielago on the track."

I cant wait for performance figures from the more powerful version. 965bhp is just damn crazy.

Peter Stevens realy puts MG on the map with this XPower SV. I never expected that MG would ever come up with such a EXTREME CAR. It looks like a prototype but it is going in to production this way !!! MG really rocks

Don't be surprised if you hear bout this baby breaking the F1's record. It has everything needed to break the record. If the Bugatti even gets released, MG will be on top of the supercar world. It's about time someone took the McLaren off of its world record pedistool. GO XPOWER!!!!!!!!!!
 Amazing...

This is just an amazing piece of art. Its got the looks and the style... and the engine is of the Ford Cobra SVT. I have to say: this is one car MG has to bring into production. I guess 0-60 in 4.9 seconds is also pretty good with a 4.6 ltr engine. Well done MG!!
