| Weird -- and Ugly, too. |

The Saturn Curve goes as far in the ugly direction as the Pontiac Solstice does in the opposite. The most objectionable aspect is, of course, the roof. This round disclike item, reminiscent of a late-50s Citroen, also reminds me of an Israeli kid on his way to The Western Wall. Wherever did Saturn designers get the idea that they could convert a snow-saucer into a sports car roof? Quick, Saturn: Build a roadster and chop that horrible thing off! And try not to make the rag top look like another kapi, OK? And while you are at it, change out the front grille, will you? The one you have on there now looks like a bathroom fan vent. Sheesh. Sometimes these designs make you wanna nuke Pasadena. |
