I can`t be the only person who noticed this car has not graduated from the 1980`s. Seriously, open your copy of Classic Car mag to the `used` section and you will pretty much see this staring back at you from 25+ years ago.
...And people call Porsche designers lazy..

The Brooklands is what a Bentley Coupe should look like. It is a welcome return to the style and elegance that personifies the true spirit of a Bentley. Not since the great Continentals of the 50ies and 60ies have we seen such superb proportions and balance of design. It is just simply beautiful from every angle.
(It makes the clunky R.R. Phantom Coupe look positively ugly.)
I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of the Brookland in Sydney Australia. It looks even better in the flesh than it does in the pictures. I would just love one. Undoubtedly a future classic.
I am sure W.O. is smiling down from above and nodding his head in approval of this beauty.
 Very nice.

This car makes the Continental GT look like what it is, an Audi. An Audi with a nice wooden interior mind you, but an Audi none-the-less. This is exactly what a Bentley coupe should be, Huge, Fast, driven from the rear. It looks wonderful as well, much better than the cough-drop shape of the GT. I just wonder how long Bentley can keep this up in a modern world.
 I want one!

This is what a Bentley Coupe should be, imposing, brutal but also elegant and refined. It seems a lot of tooling effort for only 550 cars though. Perhaps we will see other versions of this coupe appear if the Brooklands run is successful? One also wonders what effect it will have on Continental GT prices. Not much at 550 cars but it certainly shifts the goal posts somewhat and makes the GT look like the 'baby' Bentley Coupe.
