looks ugly enough that i can't look to this 7 when it comes around me ,look at the new audi A8 or the s class:very good looking but they are not a bmw,i always believe that bmw is a car only for the smart people,but now its a stupid looking car, finally one thing i can tell :bmw designers go to hell.... |

okay, this car's looks were at first controversial... but i love it! My dad bought his as soon as it was out on the market. I study abroad and when i heard I couldnt believe he'd bought it but once i got back, it was love at first sight. It's the smoothest 7 ever! It pulls like crazy, it handles like it was on rails and is simply awesome. bring up its arch nemesis, the S500 and it beats it hands down. We own both amongst others... the S500 is a great car, but i like the way BMW makes its gimicks show so much more and the way the armrest in the back has controls for the button lovers... all in all, this is a perfect car. |

Finally Alpina decided to tune the new BMW 7. The car has 50/50 balance. The hart of B7 is a 4.4 liter v8 that now produces 470 hp and 650 Nm. 0-100 Km mark is hit in less than 5.5 seconds. The final speed is 300 kph. The best luxury sedan sedan got an even better version of V8. You can't beat that. |

I agree that the design is hideous. I believe that BMW is headed in the wrong path with their design department. Thought they did well up to and including the E46. Everything after that is a design oxymoron. They need help quickly. |

Is it just me, or does the new 7-Series look like a taxi from the rear end??? Maybe buyers can lease out the back of there cars to advertise to help pay off the exorbitant amount BMW charges for such hideous and disgusting design work. I think the Designer, Chris Bangle, should have some form of amputation on his drawing hand, so as not to have anymore of these abominations roaming our streets. |

Had the chance to test drive this one for two days. It handles very much like a smaller car than a bulky sedan. Much sportier feel than the Merc S class. The engine is quite powerful and easy to hit 200+ Kph without realising it, this is mainly due to how smooth & quiet the car is. Lots of buttons & gizmos (has a button for everything you can think of + more!) very techy stuff.. you should see the display when backing up!.. it even had a fridge in the armrest!. getting around all the setup menus & CD/radio takes a little work. Shame about all the gray plastic. Ovarall, if you got the dough.. this is the way to go. |
