sry to burst ur bubble, but its gonna b basically imposible to make a celica into a 10 second car. but to make it faster, and for cheap, i wud suggest a new intake, exaust, and a new nitrous cost....
oooooo looks like a 3000gt...i guess it is.....the turbo 3000gt is fast....but not skyline fast.....a 3000gt is very very heavy, and that balances out the power that it makes.
what the hell is a mitsubishi gto?!?!
ive never heard of a mitsu gto....do u mean mitsu evo? or 3000gt?
but the two smaller turbos wont be able to produce alot of boost, maybe like 10 psi at the most.
NO! what im saying is, if ur modifying ur slow ass honda civic, and dont want to put up with turbo lag, installing a sequential turbo set up isnt practical becuase its expensive, its more practical...
i want a viper, so i can turn it into a venom....twin turbos....body kit.....fun fun fun!
thats because they dont have 2, when i made the nitrous/turbo comment, it was in reference to slightly modified street cars...not full blown drag cars. Altho sequential turbos are a good idea, they...
but that again isnt fair, becuause of the power cap in japan, there cars have 280 hp, yeh the cars have the potential to be much faster.
yes but how many of those are sequencial turbo set ups? i guarentee u the majority of them, if not all of them, are 2 large turbos, both spooling out boost threw the rpm range.
ha! c i was rite :)
for your information....ive never played gran turismo.....im talking about real life here, not video games. the only way that a 2 wheel drive car can b faster then a4 wheel drive car in the 1/4 mile...
watch drag racing, a stock second gen talon AWD turbo beat a supra TT in a quater mile.....y?.....its all about getting the power to the ground, and keeping it there.
ok, if ur such a pro, then whats ur thinking on the topic?
lets not confuse videa games with real life here.....
what are you talking about? wheel spin is horrible, wheel spin is a waste of energy, the energy that your engine is making, and the energy that should go to moving the car, not to heating up rubber...
AWD is an advantage any where, strait away, curves, off road, on the track, 4 wheels is better then 2. The only exception would be drifting and burnouts.
on the track, the srt-4 would take all, its lighter and more nimble then the mustang. But I would perfer the Mustang GT, because its cheaper to modify and will produce more power in the end.
when it comes to racing tho, japanese cars have a deffenate advantage over there american counter parts. Sure mustang with a super charger can make alot of power, but try getting it all to the ground...
The car to look at for the g35 is the 350z. because these cars share the same drivetrain, if the 350zx becomes a reality, then a turbo g35 is likely to follow. Some good news, nismo has been...
ive heard that a single turbo is better, with nitrous adding power at lower rpm. A twin turbo set up is harder to tune, and not as reliable as a single turbo/nitrous system.
A new technology today uses a CO2 spray. As the compress CO2 is decompressed and sprayed at the intercooler, it provides much better cooling then a water spray. Yes, the CO2 supply is limited, but it...
The three most powerful cars interms of potential are the nissian skyline, toyota supra, and mazda rx-7. The turbos of these cars can b modiffied to gag these engines with boost, enof to make over...
