Very nice!
It's clearly a baby...
Yeah, but they're still not as bad as those driving suits...
The interim us defiantly better, but I don’t mind it that much. I guess it just seems like none of them look that good once the sponsor’s decals are applied. The driver’s suits though, make it look...
I think the Thema motor is kind of a hybrid of Ferrari design. It has the QV heads of the 308 GTB engine, but not the flat-plane crankshaft. It uses the crank from the 308 GT4.
It seems very well conceived and developed for a kit, at least the level of say, a Ginetta. Well beyond that of any American kit of the period like a Fiber-fab. Thanks for your help deciphering all...
Wow! That thing is SERIOUSLY small! Light too! :) Am I reading the page right when I see that it uses not only Renault motors, but also suspension? At only 1400lbs the JIDE must fly with a...
They're all just stacked row-on-row... It reminds me of those pictures of the clay soldiers fromt he toumb of Emperor Qinshihuang.
I guess the most important thing would be to know how many survive, and if there is an established market for them. The production years fall under DOT and EPA exemptions for smog and safety. If...
Sweet! Now all I have to do is learn to read French (Fourth times a charm :o ) and figure out how much they cost. Then find one, pay for it, and ship it to California only to figure out that I...
Thanks for the info Henk! I've been trying to find something other than a name on this thing for almost a year now. But it's all been in French. ANy idea what kind of chassis it had?
I almost bought one of these once, but went for a '58 type1 Low lamp instead. I'm still not sure I made the right choice.
IT's like that Top Geartest of the 350Z against all the other generations of Z and ZX. Not only did the 350 lose to the 300TT it almost lost to an old 260. The size and weight of cars is just out...
I respectfully disagree.

1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto. My parents had one and I never forgave them for selling.
If you mean than the Miata power plant, you might want to note that the Miata in question appears to have a Supercharger fitted making it looks wider because of the intake routing. It’s not any...
I think it's the same as Lotus. It's just not part of the cars reason for being.
I stand undaunted.
I have nothing against Slicks, I simply disagree with him and do not “fear” him. He’s a little strong-arm is his arguments for my taste…
Not so fast. First, the LS1...
Bring it...
You're quite correct, I should've said "proper brakes."
Viper owners, in fact, seem to have an almost masochistic love affair with the Viper's crap interior (Though the 2nd-gen was a huge step forward.). I like the paint on this one, and it certainly...
Hey, don't include me in this. I'm American, and I'm smart enough to understand exactly what they mean.
Compared to what? The car will not handle better for having a giant V8 out front, neither will an RX7. I don't care what upgrades accompany the swap, they would benefit a stock Miata more. And no,...
True, Lexus doesn't really have the history of building Lightweights that Honda does. But isn't the Honda bigger overall as well? I just can't imagine that Toyota is ging to build a smaller RWD car...
