I'd say it's ford for manufactures title, well there is not many others,
and ford also (Gronholm) world champion).
Ford has now two very strong drivers, had car before already.
Solberg second and Loeb Third.
What You Think Who Will Win.?????

Just to let you know there will be 3 Citroen Xsara WRCs and 3 Peugeot 307 WRCs, even though the teams that have those cars are privateers, they are both factory backed . I think Loeb will win the driver's championship.Originally Posted by 247drifting.com
solberg being the only person in a completely familiar racing car, i think its almost certain to say that he's about to grab his second world championship.
Solberg gets it in 06.
You can call me scott.
I do Know That, still they are not factory cars, also they said that ford is faster car than it was before, also peugeot doesn't do anything, if Gronholm and MartinOriginally Posted by Zytek_Fan
both said that it's impossoble to drive that car faster that suspension is impossible and car simply sucks,.
Also Solberg has lot's of bad luck.
Too bad McRae didn't get back .
He was doing pretty good with that little Skoda.

Loeb will still be in with a very good chance, I assume he will not be let down by the factory too much in order not to frustrate him for the 2007 season. Would the rules allow a participation of the C4 already during the season for testing purposes?

can loeb still win the "WRC" or will he only be able to win the privateer wrc ?

I thought designated drivers for the WRC were factory drivers only, just in order to leave a slim opportunity for privateers to score points. Otherwise, who should "desginate" a privateer?Originally Posted by Mustang

WRC == "recognised" factory car current or older
P-WRC == Production WRC
J-WRC == Junior WRC
Each has different rules for the CAR and points awarded in the CLASS but points from final rally positions give driver points that lead to the overal championship. So in theory a P-WRC or J-WRC could win the WRC. But given the machine differences highly unliekly

There is a seeding on applications which favours factory supported cars, but beyond that a privateer is not differntiated.
EDT: all dependant on the driver paying the registration for the events and championship !! So some cars/drivers enter and aren't eligible for points.
