    Globalisation

    Henk and eggnog mentioned globalisation.

What is the truest definition of Globalization?

    Princess Diana's death.

    How come?

An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, driving a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whiskey, followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese motorcycles, treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines! And this is sent to you by an American, using Bill Gates' technology Which he enjoyed stealing from the Japanese. And you are probably reading this on one of the IBM clones that use Taiwanese-made chips, and Korean-made monitors, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by lorries driven by Indians, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, trucked by Mexican illegal aliens, and finally sold to you.

    That, is Globalization!
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

I am not sure whether this is correct. I am sure the Benz had no Dutch engine, and may be there are other mistakes as well
It is not so much about nationality of individual people, but more about who controls them.

LMAO!!!! That's jokes. Oh what a coincidence, we're learning about demographics and globalization in career studies right now. I should tell this in class if you don't mind.

NO....that is hilarious! I think globalization sucks. I mean it is good and all in certain aspects of business and getting goods to us, the consumer. I dont think it is good that Companies like Benz and VW start moving production to Brazil or other countries to cut cost. The product loses quality. Less skilled, cheap labour. Not cool. A VW GTI used to be a nice quality German car along with a BENZ. I mean now a days Honda is more American than a Chevrolet! I think it is confusing and messing up a lot of things.
