It looks like it came with the 4A or 7A series engine.

We gawds theres just so many carollas out there...to bad their he motoring equvilents of white good nowdays....(always have been but before they at least had some cool versions)
Guess who'z back, lol...
there is no such thing as a n16 SSS and the sr16ve was only produced in limited numbers for a couple of sunny models back in 95' 96'n16 SSS pulsar came the sr16....but sr20s are more common i read....butt ugly imo but cheap.
altho the asians do get the 2.0L option for the n16 which is the QR20 (awesome engine)

Now dont get me wrong, im not a person who considers every detail in specs on a car like alot of you, however im very interested in reading the comments from people like Nildo and More Boost1555.
But seriously lad, im almost certain this topic would be alot more indepth without people like you corrupting it with Movies and Cartoons
Ive heard many rumours about the R35 GTR that have mainly been based upon the late Nissan 350z, and using its engine twin turbo'ed in a 35 chassi with 350z looks.
A rumour i dont think was mentioned here was that it may inherit the front of the 200sx (or 240sx i think it is called in america).
AHHA eitherway great car and looks promising, i do hope that holden and ford will step up their production to one day possibly compete with skyline in bathurst
Cbf editin too tired, thread to long and im tired
Acutally, bubba, the Toyota Corolla Sprinter/Trueno are real cars. We never got the Trueno/Sprinter here in the States, but we did get an SR5 or GT-S Version here. I'm not sure which of them, might have even been both. And in the right hands, a car with moderate power can beat a car with loads of power when it comes to racing, except drag racing. That (bracket style drag racing) takes consistancy.

the Trueno is stil the best drift car to get, rivaled only by Silvia, but if u check japanese D1, u actually se that a Trueno wins a national race now and then. to be such an old car, it's nice to see it kicks the ass out of newer models......guess Toyota did make one decent car atleast.....
**Supra isnt to be considdered a car....it's.....a monster... and only way to own one here is to be a freaking millionaire....the state takes like....2 times the car's price in tax alone, not to mention what u have to pay in insurance.....
and last but not forgotten, this country's god forsaken super high gas prices, as of today (04.08.05) the price for one Litre of 98 gas is 1.8 USD or 1.375 Euro...
u know what test plates for a car that dosent have plates is called here...
Supra-plates
and no kidding, thats the only plates iwe seen on a Supra here in Norway
wow! thats horrible. do you have any japanese performance cars in norway? it seems like such a shame if you don't, here in melbourne i see everything! lancer evo's, supras, GT-Rs etc. tell me you have at least one japanese performance car that won't put you out of a job to buy/insure/run
blah.

the skyline is going up against Evo and STi that weighs less than r34 so V-8 and Attessa- ets will only make it heavyer. an alumnum body will help keep the weigh down but it will make it cost more than an NSX. I say twin turbo V-6 for US. please nissan
