unfortunately for us car enthusiast peugeot lovers ; they are a very conservative company in terms of early release pics of their upcoming vehicles.. unlike bmw and mercedes..... maybe its just to get the public very eager.

but im pretty sure this will be what the model will look like...

    Spy Shot: Peugeot 407 Coupe
To be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next spring and to go on sale in early 2006, Peugeot's 407 Coupe will show a clear resemblance to the Silhouette, Elixir and even 907 concept cars once its wraps come off. Its long bonnet, wide grille and sweeping profile are rather Italianate, though unlike its Pininfarina-designed 406 predecessor, this car has actually been styled in-house at Peugeot. Engines for the range will include the Ford-sourced 2.7 V6 diesel, as used in the Jaguar S-Type..

Any coupe will be esthecially preferable over the Audi TT., an ironed New Beetle

The one pic of the 407 coupe does not convince me that it is preferable over the 406, in particular the rear lights, which I always thought were supposed to be seen from the rear and not from the side.

i dont know how much more convincing you need,,and as far as TT and Beetle they are GERMAN cars.....not cross breed of a jap car....

German cars might be "gruendlich" but do not stand out as esthetic masterpieces. Whenever they try something special they hopelessly fail, see f.i. the TT and the New Beetle, but if I am not mistaken the designer (the same for both cars) is not German but American.

No, the Solora is a badly proportioned, saggy excuse for an American luxo-barge.

The Pug is a taut, modern looking, dynamic coupe.
