As much as I like the new 6 series, I'd probably take the 7 series or the A8, I have a large family, so I would need a large sedan.

The A8 easily has the best reliability, the 7-series I think is ugly, and the 6-series is just not practical for a family

thats the V12 in the SL55 //AMG !!!!

just so that no one accuses me of derialing the thread, i will pick the BMW 6 series. just coz its a sports car and the other 2 are not.

The "12" would be the V12 in the SL65 //AMG ..the SL55 is another 8, which would have been my choice over the A8.

sorry guys, i meant to say SL65 //AMG and not 55 as mentioned in my previous post.
anyways, i have not seen a single pic of that SL65 till now. im starting to doubt if they even made it or will make it. i saw that 65 engine in the CL but not the SL. maybe the engine bay isnt large enough to acoomodate the V12 and turbochargers ?

Sorry,i dont know anything about the new engine,just know that its like the CL65s engine,V12 biturbo-twin turbo

i talked to the mercedes-benz agent at the washington auto car show. according to him, there is no word yet wether they will market the SL65 yet. he knows that there will be 2000 CL65s made, but not sure about the SL. he sez its at a testing period.
so there u have it people, we dont know if they will market the SL65 //AMG !!

The V12 is also in the SL 600, which just came out new for late 2003.
It uses a 5.5 Liter Twin Turbocharged V12, which makes 500hp and 590 ft lbs torque.
