    These wheels worth much?

    Just a general Q here:

Do you guys think these wheels are worth much? ... off a 98 Commodore VT 50th Anniversary edition. They might be worthless but i guess im not sure because they are off a limited edition series. Below is a pic of a car with them:

You should search ebay for something similar or another set of those. Could give you a rough idea.

You'd pay the most for them trying to get them as a genuine Holden spare part or anything, so you might find them for a couple of hundred on Ebay or from a wrecker etc. Maybe someone in the Trading Post or something has a set for sale going pretty cheap

Sorry, I should clarify, Im looking to sell a set of them, not buy. Unfortunately, I cant find any for sale in the trading post to get an idea of how much they might go for.... a quick browse on ebay didnt turn too much either.

Any other ideas how I could get a value on them? Will the local holden dealer be able to help you think?

Ive got a feeling they'll laugh in your face and turn you away. If all else fails, i suppose you could always slap on POA as the price and wait for some phone calls

Don't quote me on this, But i think i have also seen them on a statesman or caprice, But they would be worth more if they were the internationals that came out on the VT calais.

Who knows with Holden, they come out with so many updates and special models every time someone gets close to outselling them they'd surely be getting close to using a design twice. I mean they basically used AU2 XR8 rims on the VY2 Calais

What would you do though if Holden quoted $2500 for them, but someone was selling them for $500 in the paper

Ok got a quote from Holden, the wheels go for $300ea, so $1200 for a set of them. Whatdo you reckon I could get for them? Perfect nick + 4 new tires to go with them .... $800?
