Well, the people buy on the way it looks, possibility of increase in the value, not for performance and ability to kick ass. kinda sad that it went for so cheap.

They said earlier today one was sold for that amount, but it wasn't at the Barrett-Jackson auction.

I think that is just a world record for the price of a car, I don't believe it was at barrett-jackson though.

A viewer e-mailed in after this discussion online and had gone to Guinness Book of World Records and they state an early model Bugatti Royale holds the record at $15,000,000 sold in early 1990.

There were some nice cars on Barret-Jackson, I saw on the site they auctioned a Jag XJ220, but the show was at a commercial for it so I didn't see what it went for. Shame too, I wonder how many othe rnice cars I missed because of commercials!

That Olds' interior looks beautiful. Can't say I like the outside but the interior is amazing.

Hate the colour but that doesnt really matter Very unique car .. wouldnt see myself spending that much money on one though but thats because im not really into that type of car. But I recon more prototypes should be sold .. its a pleasure to see them on the road knowing that it is unique. Viva la Prototypes
