it can be done but i reckon FPV will remain in lazy mode until the 6 speed auto drops in at the end of the year, then we should hopefully see more than 300kw out of the GTOriginally Posted by Blue Supra

theyll prolly only put it in the XRs and up to start and then maybe down the track theyll whack it in all of em.

Fairmonts, XR6T and XR8 as well as the FPV's, so basically everything but the XT, Futura and XR6 to keep costs down

the XR6 is just a SR with a different kit isnt it? because it has the same engine and other items as the SR dosent it?

They should pump up the XR power to 195kw. Do what holden done with the 175 and 190 gives the feeling of something a little more for your money

the actual feeling from driving the car's from the torque, but in the numbers its more for bragging rights. ford could really pull one over holden if they focussed more on their torque numbers, afterall the I6 has 380nm compared to the 175's 320 and the 190's 340, the BOSS260 has slightly more than the SS and equal to the Monaro and the F6 has about 20nm more than the LS2 Clubbies

sorta, depends on the model cause of the gearing and everything. torque's just half of the story, but most definately an XT with the I6 should "feel" faster than the Executive, but then again the timeslips confirm that. Maybe the SV6 and XR6 is a better example

then again though, the LS2 is 6L and the falcon is 5.4 and its only 10kw behind.

yeah but thats 297kw ECE and 290kw DIN, get them both on ECE or DIN and its more like 20kw.
the bigger CC definately gives the I6 its extra torque though, 380nm at 3250rpm or something, so just over half the rev range with a peak of 6000rpm
