That's right, after breaking the 0-100-0 world record last summer, with a time of 10.3 seconds Ultima have done it again.
This time with a 685bhp 377ci engine, the car managed to better its time by a whole half second, 9.8 being the time in question.
It hit 60 in 2.7s, .2s quicker than the last attempt, 100 in 5.8s, .2s quicker than the last attempt, but .3s slower than the 0-100 time recorded later last summer*.
Ultima look forward to letting the Stig loose on BBCs Top Gear to "humiliate" the current fastest lap holder - the Ferrari Enzo.
* Which just proves my point that I have made several times about figures being pretty much meaningless when comparing cars...
