Ferrari 512S #13
chassis no 1006
512s #14
I'm pretty sure the pics of the #14 car at the beginning of the thread is a 512M, not S.
which chassis is that, it looks like one of the few S types not converted to M configuration, however, the original S had no front lip.

The car shown in post # is chassis #1026, owned by Nick Mason. Actually is not the original car, which burned almost completely during the shooting of the "LeMans" movie. The remains were taken to a shed in Paris and Mason bought the wreck much later and apart from the chassis plate nothing of the rebuild car is original. In all honesty, Mason never claims that his car is original.

I'm thinking of a NART car #1020 which is also number 14 and has the same white and blue stripe down the middle.

some more info regarding the car posted by Nopassn, which I am sure he shot during the 2004 Monterey historics. It is actually a replica using chassis plate #1034, however, it has not got acceptance in the European Ferrari Challenge. To complicate things further there is a second replica #1034 around...
Edit, this is incorrect, Nopassn shot 1048, the 512F. 1034 was also at Laguna in 2004, driven by Bill Cotter. Pics wanted. On the other hand, it is unlikely that the organisers in Laguna will let replicas participate...

I really like the shot in #13! I prefer studio shots more then pic´s on outside events (of course, no offence to people who took them) as they give a clean view on the car without distracting shadows, people around the car etc. But studio shots of such a car are not seen very often, so highly appreciated by me. Is the example in #13 from the Matsuda Collection BTW?
