Duesenberg TorpedoŽ Coupe 2007 ... repost?

    "Duesenberg TorpedoŽ Coupe
A new Duesenberg luxury automobile to bring the United States back into the top segment of the World automotive marketplace - the Duesenberg TorpedoŽ Coupe. It is now being designed by famed California automobile designer Jeff Teague, of Teague Design Inc. ([email protected]), with a planned market introduction in January, 2007. The Duesenberg TorpedoŽ Coupe will offer the ultimate luxury motoring for four passengers, along with a unique blend of automotive innovation and the finest comfort features.

The TorpedoŽ Coupe will be driven by a revolutionary new power plant, the CEM engine now in final development by E.P. Industries ([email protected]), an air-cooled and self lubricating, forced-air inducted (supercharged), 12 cylinder, double ended, ported, multi-fueled, four-stroke engine with a calculated 70 MPG and 300 horsepower from an economical 100 pound package measuring 18 inches in diameter and 24 inches in length, which will provide an unparalleled power-to-weight ratio. Planned use of the new BoseŽ LEM electromagnetic suspension system will provide a much smoother ride than any luxury sedan, combined with less roll and pitch than any sports car (www.bose.com).

Be sure to check back for updates on the progress on America's newest luxury automobile, updates will be posted frequently.

Currently in development with planned market introduction January 2007."

That thing is so damn fugly. I hope the hand of the person who penned that falls off.

    + 300bhp?

That's not enough to be playing in the super GT league.

You need 450bhp at the moment, and that will probably be 500 - 550 by the time that monstrosity is launched.
    Thanks for all the fish

Yeah .. for something of that weight 300bhp is waaay to low. I cant think of any GT of that sorta size with less than 500bhp at the moment. Power to weight must be immense on that machine

I don't believe it. 300 hp, 70 mgp, a V12 and blown. That just doesn't add up. Might look better with out the bottom side scoop, and all one color.

    This will:
    A) never come out
    B) cost an obscene amount of money
    C) be redesigned, and not meet any of the preproduction claims
    D) be forgotten about by next week

    I smell Veyron part 2.
