New CRX?

I thought the Insight was kinda the new CRX...? It has kinda similar styling to the CRX and it seems to follow a similar philosophy. Y'know, 2-seater hatchback that's tiny, light, and gets good gas mileage? I dunno.

No, different market entirely - They used a bit of stuff that they learned from the CRX, particularly the aerodynamic kamm-back rear end.

i'd like the insight if it wasnt for the rear wheels being covered. it also seems to look like its just going to sprout rockets and fly off any minute...maybe its just me

The CRX, as far as i know, has been put on ice as Honda concentrates it's energies into Diesel and Hybrid cars.

All is not lost though; the next CRX might just go hybrid.

I quite like the covered wheels of the Insight, reminds me of fender skirts it's the tapered off tail that gets me every time. Weird shape.

I think any new CRX should be the performance model, like the Civic Si

Honestly, I'm surprised everyone seemed to miss me so much . I wasn't really gone that long, was I? I guess I must've been. Anywho, just been busy and all. Kinda just didn't feel like posting about cars for a little while there, too. Anywho, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things here .

Once again, you bring absolutely NO information to the table.

If you don't know anything about a subject, then simply don't respond. I also remember asking if anybody had any more information on the subject, not just one person.

Civic Si was shown at frankfurt show, but the CRX was missing.

I'm really looking forward to the new CRX, I heard every CRX coming out will use the 197 hp engine that the Civic Si is going to use! I just hope the CRX weighs around 2200-2500 max.

That Particular article comes from a 2000 Motor Magazine. The Rumours have long since been quashed by Honda; why would they need a small coupe if they have the Si or the Civic 5 Door looking so funky and handling well?

AutoWeek already said that Honda is working on the next CRX.

Top of the engine chart is the 200-hp version of the K20 four-cylinder that will power the Civic Si and CRX. Civic Si— the most powerful Civic ever, according to Honda—will bow at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas this November.
