If I were Wouter Melissen these are the changes I'd do to the forums:

1) Review the moderators and see who is doing their job and who isnt. Take out the useless ones and replace them with someone who can do a better job.

2) Moderators Names must be in BOLD and must be in RED to make them more easier identified.

3) Here is how the forums position would go: Junior Member - 0-500 posts, Member - 500-1000 posts, Senior Member - 1000-1500 posts, UCP Resident - 1500-2000 posts, UCP Citizen - 2500+ posts. This will be increasing after a selected period.

4) Making a paid membership into UCP. Current members and future members will have to pay a very small fee of $1US a month to keep their membership active. It will go up to a total of $12US a year. That is a very little amount and will help ease the financial stress on UCP.

5) Remove the rating system.

6) Offer a R18+ place in UCP, where things like porn etc is accessible for members who are 18+, they will pay a small fee of $2US a month for subscription and receive daily mails of porn pictures/stories etc. This will further ease the financial stress on UCP.

7) Try to get more members into UCP. Each member will get a reference number and if they get 50+ people to join UCP they will be given a 1 month subscription for their membership in UCP FREE!

I think it would be more worthwile to know which moderator moderates which thread, it now looks like all of them jump into the same discussions from time to time, which is fine, but do they do that as a mod or as a forum member

Transaction costs will melt away any revenues coming from such a system

Totally disagree, if you want I can give you addresses for free porn sites, but UCP should have nothing to do with it. Can you imagine the administrative checks required to see whether people are over 18? In some countries the rules are that watching porn during working hours will result in immediate firing. Watching UCP during working hours then becomes very dangerous

50+ relates to age or number of new members.

Obviously, so how does it feel, is it lonely out there? I can't imagine to write another 1800 posts to achieve that elusive status. There is a sort of paradox going on here. On the one hand the rating system was introduced to reduce the number of low quality comments (not referring to you FPV but on the other hand the absolute number will be sort of rewarded.

lol no worries there henk. theres pretty much 2 ways to judge someones character on the site: either by the much talked about reputation system or by how many posts someone has. take me for instance, ive got over 2700 posts and 27 reputation points. thats alot of posts compared to others, hell its the highest, but its by no means the best reputation. someone new to the site could judge from that, that im a regular on the site who in general doesnt post anything to complain about. then take crisis, hes got 800-900 posts racked up and a reputation of 40. from those i reckon it looks more impressive for crisis

r34 296kw this may be your best idea yet. and as for the moderators they should awnser member questions in an easier way not giving you a dumb awnser. like the problem has been solved and not give you the reason it happend to begin with. they should be honset on why the situation happend

first this is not a porn site so who ever want to see porn go to worldsex.

this is a TERRIBLE idea, this is not what UCP is about. it might be fine for perverts like you, but not everyone is a pervert like you.
