    Motorsport Industry Futrure

Do you think that the bulk of the motorsport industry will stay in England or go some where else? I think if Toyota starts to dominate the F1, the industry might move to Germany. Germans are very smart engineers and desighners. I just want to know what you think.
p.s I´m sorry I put it under technical formums

Why would it make a difference whether Toyota are successful? They've been sucessful in rallying in the past, from the same base in Cologne.
Nothing changed then? Ford and Subaru stayed in the UK.

Chassis dynamics, wind tunnels/ fluid dynamics, and carbon fibre development are all specialist areas where the UK has a great pool of knowledge.
Wind tunnels and workers are hard to move.

At the moment the majority of the teams are UK owned and run.
(Though this has changed with the Jordan and Red Bull buy outs.)
The thing is that Wind tunnels and Man power are difficult and costly things to move

Russian owned Jordan/ Midland are set to run Dallara (Italian) built chassis net year so that could be a team headed in an Italian direction?

Red Bull have recently partnered with Ferrari... another move in an Italian direction.

I don't see too much change in a German direction, though if BMW make a talked about tie up with Sauber then maybe that will mark a minor shift. But that would be from Swiss to Bayern... Not from UK

I think that the grid at the moment is extremely International in its makeup.
I don't see a shift to any one country, I think if anything you will see it spread out even further.

Most of the UK based teams are partnered with International companies, Mercedes BMW etc... But entry to F1 is extremely difficult, so personaly I would be surprised to see any radical shift.
